PreCip Eco Jacket
Your boy loves splashing in puddles and drinking raindrops when following you down trails in the rain. Dress him in the Marmot Boys' PreCip Jacket, and you'll no longer have to listen to the subsequent whining after he realizes that getting wet also means getting cold. This protective shell with fully-taped seams offers 10K-rated waterproof protection and more breathable comfort than last year's version, thanks to Marmot's new NanoPro waterproof membrane and eco-friendly DWR (durable water repellent) finish. The DriClime mesh chin guard further enhances comfort by quickly wicking excessive sweat or breath moisture away, and the double storm flap over the front zipper ensures that rain drops don't sneak in through the cracks. Your boy will be able to throw the brimmed hood over his head during a downpour without losing peripheral vision, and if it clears up, he can roll the hood back into the collar to keep it out of the way. The jacket is constructed for free movement, and though lightweight overall, features recycled nylon ripstop fabric that holds up to his regular rough-and-tumbling.

PFAS free kids’ raincoat
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Excited to find this on the market already! The grapefruit color is OK. Probably would have preferred the lavender color, but it wasn’t available.

Son Loves It!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second one I've bought for my son. Great for everyday use and backpacking trips when we're not expecting a ton of rain. Won't stand up in a downpour for very long, but great for 90% of situations.

Short arms
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Arms are super short. My child usually wears large, so I ordered XL for him to grow into it. Didn’t even have long enough arm a size up.

Just like Grandpa’s
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great little jacket. Nice fit. A little big for my little guy, but he’ll grow into it. He’ll probably wear this jacket for 2+ years.

Great for petite women/AFAB folks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm 5'2" and 130 lbs and I bought this jacket in XL cause I'm not always a fan of the shape/darting on women's jackets and wanted a more relaxed fit. It's packable, a good value, and keeps me dry! I wear this jacket constantly up here in the Pacific Northwest. Only issue I have is that the sleeves come up a tad short, but most of the time I don't even notice. I'll also mention that the jacket's waterproofing will only go so far, but the only time that has ever been a problem is when I'm cycling in the pouring rain for extended periods. For the price, I think it's an awesome deal.

Do the pockets have zippers? What is the main difference between this jacket costing $70 and the minimalist jacket for $120? Thank you.
