Best jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried a lot of jackets across several brands and this was my favorite. It's not particularly lightweight, but it's stretchy, soft and extremely warm without the bulk. I was caught outside in 10 degree weather was fine running from indoors to the car and back. The armpits are a bit tight and layering is tougher since the material isn't slick but the stretchability of the jacket allows you to eventually fit heavy layers underneath.

Nice looking, Functional, Compatible!
Love the combination of warmth and lightweight! It's great winter days that above 32 degrees. The size M fits me well (175lb, 6ft). A couple things that could be better: Hoody isn't tall enough, each time I put it on it kind pressure down to my head. Hope it's roomier. Zippers on the side could get stuck with the pocket lining from inside.

Nice jacket but very poor quality zippers
Used this jacket 3 times. Zipper would catch on the inner material from day 1 and finally broke. Have to pay to ship back for repairs. I most likely will pass because I envision this happening again and again with the cheap zippers utilized on this nice jacket. I have a couple of the original Novus hoody's which have much better quality zippers and never have given me any issues.

Love this jacket
I've only had tho jacket for a little over a month, but its quickly becoming my favorite, go to, jacket. The only thing that would make this jacket better would be pit zips. Everything else is flawless. Great zippers, hand warmer pockets, packable, fitted hood, not an odd ball color… which is huge. For some reason, outdoor apparel always seem to be bright and funny colored. Marmot hit the nail on the head with this one.

Excellent Warm Layer
Great layer for winter sports or cold climbing belays. I primarily use this as a layer for backcountry skiing. It's much to warm to wear while moving uphill, but a perfect layer to throw on in order to stay warm during breaks.

Perfect ski layer.
I combine this with my base layer and shell for the perfect temperature skiing here in Utah. Not too warm that I’m sweating and not ever cold. I love wearing puffy coats, but this has been my go to all winter.
