Horrible color
I ordered the Vetiver color thinking it was tan, or khaki but it's OLIVE. Looks nothing like the photos. It is very dark and ugly. It was a final sale and no returns. It is true to size.

Love it

Exactly what I was looking for! The size is perfect and accounts for layering underneath. I am able to comfortably wear a small parka underneath without any problem. Took this skiing as a shell and it kept me dry the whole time! Easy to spot clean too

Perfection!
This jacket was exactly what I was looking for! I wanted a Goretex jacket to wear as a top layer when I run in rain and/or cold weather. I’ve already worn it multiple times and it does just what I hoped it would do; block the wind, but breathable and waterproof protection. A terrific jacket at a reasonable price.

Great waterproof jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very pleased with this jacket. Well designed seems to be very waterproof. I was able to try it out in some heavy winds & rains recently, worked great! Love the rose gold color, ordered it a size up so it could be worn over a barn coat in cold weather & that was perfect as well.

The cuffs are annoying
- Familiarity:

The jacket fits well and has useful pockets and hood. However, the velcro cuffs on the sleeves are quite annoying because you can't roll the cuffs up easily, and the sleeves are longish.

Perfect Gortex for travel
Good color, length, and fit! Light weight but sturdy. Will be great for upcoming travel. Long enough to provide hip coverage.

Perfect---except it needs a hood drawstring....
My jacket is beautiful and definitely waterproof. I bought a large to fit over a vest or sweater, so it is roomy but that's okay. I love it and would like to give it 5 stars but I'm confused by why there is no drawstring or velcro or snap to keep the hood on my head in high wind/rain. It feels like there is a drawstring on the inside edge of the hood, but alas. I think the theory is that you can play with the edge and make the hood stay up but I couldn't. A simple string would help. So close to perfect.

How do I pack my rain jacket?

Hello, I would like to ask about the breathability level of this jacket. How much is it in MVTR (g/m2/24h) or in RET?

Will the hood fit over a bicycle helmet?

I had my last Gortex Marmot for nearly 20 years. I recently donated it to Goodwill and am seriously regretting it. I am looking for a Gortex shell with a snow skirt, pit zips, hood, etc. I haven't seen any with a snow skirt. Please suggest- I love Marmot!

How long are the sleeves? My daughter is 6' tall and I want to make sure it fits her.

After having this jacket for about a year and wearing it a lot, I notice the outer layer of fabric, outside the GoreTex, is getting wetter and taking longer to dry when it rains. Do I need to re-waterproof it?
