Why We Like The Juniper Springs 5in Short
When we take a summer hike to a remote alpine lake and we're wearing the Juniper Springs 5in Shorts, it's a safe bet that we're the first in the group to dive in. A midweight recycled nylon construction with water-resistant treatment gives these athletic shorts quick-drying performance, while UPF 50 sun protection helps save our gams from harmful UV rays.

When You Don’t Need Pants…Try These Shorts
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Every now and again I take a chance on the unknown, but rarely when it pertains to clothing. This year I found myself in need of a new pair of paddling shorts when I happened on Marmot’s Juniper Springs shorts. Not one to risk a 10 hour day in the kayak to uncomfortable gear, I spent a few days wandering around the house. Whether lounging on the couch or cleaning the kitchen, all was well. No pinching, rough seams, or bunching, just what I was looking for. Should you find yourself in need of comfortable shorts these will do the trick.

DON'T pay full price.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Way Overpriced. Good Quality. Not Worth the full price EVEN with Lifetime warranty. Like the shorts at 65+% discount.

Quality, but some drawbacks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These feel well made. They are quite short. They aren't nearly as stretchy as I'd hoped. In most cases they're fine, but I wouldn't do anything that you need too much flexibility for in these.

Better for leisure than running or hiking
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very comfortable when standing, but get a little tight when moving one leg in front of the other

Nice shorts, good fit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for movement obviously, I love to wear these while hiking and camping. Nice wicking material and very breathable when walking around. I love them! I bought a medium and they fit me well, if a little tight.
