Really nice base layer or just to use by itself on cold weather runs
Breathability and fit is great. Seems like a quality piece that will last.

Great except for one thing
I'm 6'8" 210# and I bought the xl size. The fit is really great - it's plenty long in the arms and torso; and is similar to a "fitted" Under Armor. The shirt breathes well but also keeps you warm. I wore it for several workouts in a row to test out the scent blocking, and it still smelled fresh. The material itself is soft and stretchy - it feels really good. The seams are not on top of the shoulder. Now for why it loses a star: the seams run along the back of the scapula and for some unknown reason, Mammut decided that's where they will put the care tags. And these tags are thick and annoying. I cut them out but of course some of the remnants are still there. Mammut printed the materials list in the fabric itself on the very bottom of the shirt on the inside. This is a good idea. I wish they would have done something similar for the care instructions or at least safety pinned the tags so they can be easily removed. If Mammut fixed this issue (and made a few more colors) I would buy more.

Ultra Comfortable
This shirt balances comfort, moisture wicking, and warmth so well. I used it on a multi day ski tour and it kept me warm and dry, while also never smelling. Synthetic wool blend is where it's at.

Trift longsleeve
Its well made, has decent amount of wool so dont put in dryer on high More money but if looking for real warmth base it's worth it.

It's a wool synthetic blend that I've been looking for! Pure wool items tend to shred apart. I actually used this as a shirt and it looks great at the climbing gym.
