Alpine Sender Dry Rope
Mammut's Alpine Sender Dry Rope is a triple-certified climbing rope that you can use as a half rope in the alpine, a twin rope on a multi-pitch, or a single rope on challenging single-pitches. Best-used by experienced belayers, its skinny 8.7mm diameter packs small and reduces rope drag on wandering routes. Mammut's Dry treatment excels UIAA's standards for limiting water absorption, and it significantly enhances abrasion-resistance for a greater performance on rock as well as ice. Mammut also added a center mark to assist with quicker rappels.

Great light rope
Always glad to see them getting lighter and lighter! So far I've only taken this rope on one trip (multipitch in Red Rock) so I cannot speak to durability, but it handled well and was nice and light to carry.

I have had two sets of these ropes and have used them for both alpine trad routes and ice climbing. Would recommend.

love the dry coating
got these specially for a week long trip to Ouray. keeping them as Ice only ropes. Really noticed how water repellent they were on the first day! my older 60 and 70M ropes immediately ice over compared to these

Great for a Multi purpose
Climbing in the Canadian Rockies I love that these are triple rated. If Yam eats one of your ropes, you can use the other as a single! They are not the lightest doubles but due to their versatility they are a staple in my gear closet. I've used them in the alpine, climbing, and during glacier travel.

Light and has you back when you need it.
top end score for a rope that handles well, is versatile and ready for use on long alpine climbs. this rope pairs well with another of the same or with a tag line if you really trying to save weight on a long mission. thanks Mammut

Slender single line
Nice handling skinny rope without the bulk. Its nice having a light weight low bulk rope for long approaches, this rope is only a little heavier than a single twin. This rope has that Mammut feel and handling. Was disappointed that it had taped ends instead of the round burnt ends with the print rope info typically found with Mammut ropes.

sweet rope!
use it in a twin rope system for ice climbing. awesome rope, can always climb confidently with it. I prefer 8.7 as its a bit lighter than the 9's and im not comfortable risking falls on 7.5mm ropes, so the 8.7 is the perfect in between with a reliable rope that I trust while still managing weight.

50 years with Mammut ropes
I've used Mammut ropes since 1973, in the Rockies, in the Alps, in the Sierra, in Alaska and the last, handle well and provide all the protection you need.
