Why We Like The 4 Slide Climbing Harness
We like extra comfort on projecting days, so we step into the 4 Slide Climbing Harness. We clip our chalk bag to the back loop to regain friction and courage as we approach the crux. When the wall spits us off, the cushy leg loops and waist help relieve pressure while we hang to study the route and pantomime beta.

We use these to belay on shift at my climbing gym and the large pads make them very comfortable during long belays. Great harness for those working indoors at a gym with new climbers.

It's great so far for gym and everything
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
So I hung on it in the was clipped my PAS into and anchor, the sides my hips dug in a bit. It's not as comfortable and my misty mountain cadilac, but it's not bad. I could totally do a hanging belay. Rappeling or lowering in gym seem totally fine. I don't notice in when climbing. So over all I think it's pretty comfortable harness. Nothing to complain about.

Super Comfy
Great harness with a wide range of fit! I am on the larger size of humans, and this harness fits great! The waist cinches down from both sides of the harness vs only from one side like my previous harness. This makes the harness stay more centered on my body, and therefore more comfortable to climb in.

Pads are not super comfortable compared with Black Diamonds Momentum harness. However this harness is much lighter and gets the job done with sport climbs.

Great harness!
I love this harness! It’s incredibly comfortable and well padded. If you don’t mind the extra bulk that comes with that, this is a great choice for you! It feels very durable and well-made. The one issue that I’ve had with it is that it takes a bit longer to don, however this is something that I personally don’t mind, as I love the extra comfort this provides. I think this is a great product for beginners and intermediate-experts in gym or outdoor environments.

Great harness
Nice harness overall. The buckles allow for ample amounts of tightening up. It’s comfy while climbing. Price is right.

Great but uncomfortable on the thigh

I am a total beginner so I may be wearing it wrong, but I purchased these along with the Selenas to see which ones worked for me.. I tried both of them a few times on an auto-belay system. After trying the 4-slide I felt like the metal strap fasteners were digging into my thigh. I had them at a snug setting, just enough where it wouldn't squeeze. Now writing this post I realized I should've loosened it so that it may have helped. Other than that I love the padding on the waist and the amount of adjustments available on the strap!

Phenomenal All-round Harness
As someone who is getting more and more into climbing, I typically want to look for a lighter yet equally effective harness as my previous BD Solution harnesses with generous gear loops, but the light-weighted nature of the Mammut Sender harness. This 4-Slide Harness is a little too much for me, mainly because I'm lazy and would prefer the single buckle adjustment as opposed to adjusting all 4. While it is definitely amazing for adjustment and even to share between friends of similar waist size, I would want something a bit lighter and less finnicky in terms of time taken to put on.
