DSP Race 1.8mm Bar Tape

Boasting a claimed weight of 50 grams per set, Lizard Skins’ DSP Race 1.8 mm Bar Tape earns the right to claim itself as the lightest tape on the market. In this case, lightness doesn't mean an absence of cush. DSP Race is soft and springy, and its rubberized texture offers superb grip in all weather conditions. Each roll is 82 inches long, which gives you plenty of length to wrap any bar. The package includes 2 rolls of tape, 2 bar-end plugs, and 2 finishing strips.

Very comfy tape

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I really like the feel of this tape. It's supple, has a nice grippy feel and I like that it comes in all sorts of colors. It's durable and pretty easy to keep clean as well. The company stresses not stretching the tape so the first time used it I wrapped the bars way to lose and the result was terrible so wrap the bars tight but not super tight?? You'll know you're wrapping to lose if the tape feels like it's not gripping the bars and starts to come undone under the hoods. Once I figured out the right amount of tension to wrap the bars the results have been great.
