Carbon Leather Frame Protector

We never want to think about the wear-and-tear our frame will face when we first see its gleaming paint and sparkling componentry just out of the box, but facing facts is important. "Smooth" is a relative descriptor of most roads, and rocks, grit, and other unexpected road debris accost frames more often than most of us realize every time we head out on the roads. Taking the extra time to add Lizard Skins' Carbon Leather Frame Protector to your chainstays and other high-wear areas will prevent overnight scratches and nicks from appearing without your knowledge, preserving the aesthetic of your frame without damaging it. The blend of carbon fibers and leather boasts high durability, and Lizard Skins backs it with a highly-adhesive coating to ensure it stays in-place on your frame over the miles without unsightly peeling or chipping.

MTB Manufacturers should include this!!!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I have used this for the past two year and I think that it's awesome. Was super easy to apply to my downtube, looks like it was designed to be part of my bike. I haven't had any issues with peeling or that kind of stuff, and It has for sure protected my frame and I ride mostly in the Sedona and Flagstaff areas (chonky chonk!)!!!
