Don the Lake MXZ200 Cycling Shoes and hit the singletrack in the freshly fallen snow, enjoying spinning your legs when the trails are empty of all other bipedal creatures, while keeping your feet toasty, thanks to durable uppers that cut through the elements, and ample space for proper winter socks.

The Lake MXZ200 are constructed with full-grain leather uppers that are vegetable tanned for a unique look that's akin to work and hiking boots. The inside features a waterproof membrane, so if the snow gets deep your feet can stay dry, and the toes are backed up with 3M Thinsulate lining to trap heat inside. The shoes are built on Lake's Winter Last, which means they have a taller and wider toe box that allows for room for layering your favorite wooly winter socks to keep you warm. They lace up tall, finishing above the ankle, to keep wet, muddy, and cold weather on the outside where it belongs.

Finishing off the shoe is Vibram's heavy duty Mountain V outsole. This outsole has aggressive hiking lugs that keep you secure when you have to walk on slick and muddy trails, with directional tread designed to help you brake in the heel when walking downhill, or propel forward in the toe if you're hiking up a steep face to chase a fast and flowy descent. The sole also features a recessed cleat patch, for mountain any two-bolt mountain cleats, so you can clip in for maximum power on the trail.
