Comfortable Satisfaction
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
My spouse has a bad leg and bad back (including having had previous surgery) and was looking for a comfortable chair to use outside to enjoy the yard and be in the fresh air. After reading several reviews, we settled on this chair; the hard decision was to go with the one with a cushion (available elsewhere) or without (available here). Since we were going to have it outside, we went without the cushion, and we are very happy with the chair. It is very comfortable and easily moved from the garage to wherever in the yard we wish to have it. We also like the quality of the construction.

best zero gravity chair
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Been using Lafuma chairs for more than 30 years. Glad to see Backcountry carry them, they can be hard to find locally. The design of their chairs is the most comfortable I've ever found, which is why I keep buying a new one when my old chair wears out. Which takes quite a long time. All fabrics and plastics deteriorate when exposed to UV. When not in use, I fold the chair up and lean it against the house, in the shade. And I store it inside (the garage is fine) in wintertime. That's it - with a minimum of care, mine have lasted 15 years. But it's the comfort of a well-designed zero-gravity chair that keeps me using them. The angles and adjustments are perfect, and the fabric is the right balance of support and comfort - not too firm, not too soft. Whenever I sit in some other lounger, I'm so glad to get back to my Lafuma! The Futura is a couple inches wider than the Clipper.
