Situated neatly between La Sportiva’s SkiMo race boots and their freeride line, this alpine touring boot is equally at home going lap after lap in North facing deepness or traveling peak to peak on race day. Designed with downhill performance in mind, the Skorpius is an excellent option for entry-level SkiMo racers as it will give you the extra security of a capable descending boot as you get used to your skinny new skis. The downhill performance comes in handy for lengthy summit missions in high-consequence terrain, when mistakes cannot be afforded regardless of tired legs.
