Great shoe - but way too wide for female
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I ordered these shoes for a last minute hiking trip/trail running. I am a size 10 women?s and had to exchange them for a size 43 as the 42 was too small. The 43 fit great - with the exception that the shoe is too wide for my average female foot. The shoe is a great waterproof shoe and I love the look of them - great colors! But overall the shoe is too wide for any technical hiking or rocky trail running. They will now just serve as a winter/wet dog walking shoe unless I can re-fit them with an insert to take up some of the extra space, otherwise they are just too unstable. I wish they would make a women specific shoe.

Perfect shoes for dog agility
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I have been looking at trail running shoes to replace my two year old Doggo Parcours which were a bit tight in the forefoot. I use them to run my dogs in agility and wanted waterproof. I need a wide forefoot but only for my right foot. I ordered two sizes and the 40 fit perfectly (I wear a 7.5 in regular shoes) - the upper mesh allowed me to tighten up the left foot. Used them in class today and for once my feet did not hurt. Back County's customer service is phenomenal.
