Why We Like The Silja Long-Sleeve Top

From hiking on chilly autumn afternoons to layering up for cold resort days, the Kari Traa Silja Long-Sleeve Top comes along on all of our colder-weather activities with lasting warmth and luxurious next-to-skin softness. A decadently soft merino wool construction wraps us in temperature-regulating comfort, staying warm in wet conditions and breathing well when things heat up, while the flatlock seams do their part by eliminating painful chafing from the day's docket.

Love it!

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I bought this at the end of last season and it is definitely one of my faves. It is one of my heaviest base layers and I love it so much, I wear it as a sweater sometimes. Not sure if they changed it from last year....I bought the one that looks like a very dark pine green with dark pink highlights.

Wool is poor quality

Familiarity:

Beautiful sweater and great fit. But the first wash caused multiple (>6) holes. Probably faulty wool thread.

Cute, comfy but poor quality

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

This developed a hole in the elbow in just a couple months. I wore my Smartwool midweight baselayer 3x per week for three years before that happened. Do not recommend

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

I think I'd have kept it if there was a little more room under the arms/across teh rib cage
