Why We Like The Kari Traa Rose Half-Zip Top
Don't let winter's cold be a thorn in your side when it comes time to take your adventures to the hills. Instead, allow the Kari Traa Women's Rose Half-Zip Top to keep you warm. Fashioned with a merino wool knit fabric, the Rose wicks moisture and dries quickly, while the half-zip construction allows you to regulate your body temperature with ease. Additionally, the 4-way stretch allows for unrestricted mobility, so you don't have to worry about your baselayers getting the best of your performance on the moguls or in the trees.

Sized up from M to L for more comfortable fit. Got compliments at the lodge. Great color and fit.

MUST have half-zip
- Familiarity:
- I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
I purchased two of these as gifts for a girlfriend, trying to turn her on to the positive attributes of wool. They are form fitting, and fit her form nicely. They have different color combinations that look great on her. She wears them with a light, long sleeved silk or polypropylene undershirt and finds the half-zip gives her fast relief from the occasional post-menopausal hot flash when hiking in cooler temps. Gotta stay dry out there ya know! Stylish enough to wear casually out to the brew pub following the day hike, doesn't stink from the exertion and fits well/looks GREAT under a shacket (shirt/jacket). A smart, FLEXIBLE layering component for Fall, Winter, Spring outdoor adventuring in the northern Rockies.

Love it
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Very comfy, warm base layer. Washes nicely using cold water (I used gentle machine cycle). I cut the drying time by using the no heat, time cycle with my dryer, then laid it out flat to finish. Looks and feels great even after washing! Love it!

Only Baselayers I'll Ever Buy!
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
This is the cutest/best merino top I’ve ever found! It keeps me so warm! I usually only need this layer and my ski coat unless it’s really cold then I’ll layer a puffy as well. I love the flower/snowflake print! Such flattering base layer and I get so many compliments on the fucha color on the skin track when I’m just wearing this under my bibs! Whether you’re skiing, touring, apres-ing or lounging this is a must have set! Also, the odor resistance is awesome, I probably wash once a week and ski in it daily! True to size! I have it in the fucha and taupe color and love them both!

very comfy and very warm
- Familiarity:

I finally found a base layer which is warm enough for single digit degree weather. Tried icebreaker and smartwool, both not warm enough for me. It runs small. I usually wear size S or XS. I purchased size M and it fits me perfectly. I purchased pant in size S with same style, which is true to size.

Love it but runs small
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I am pretty picky about my wool. This feels great. But I found it to run small. Especially in the arms, and I have short arms. I?m 5?2? and 125lbs and I am sizing up to the medium. I can see me pulling the sleeves down all day in this size.
