Great shorts
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Picked these up looking for a comfortable, lighter-weight short and these are on point. Very comfortable, good length for me (not too short or long) and lightweight fabric. Great for hitting the trails, fishing, wearing around town or whatever life brings. Plan to get more as these are becoming my new favorite shorts.

34 runs small
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I'm a 33 in everything else I wear and took a chance on a 34 in these as I had heard they run small. The 34 was still too tight to be comfortable. The legs were a bit large and flowy on top of this. Nope.

GREAT OVERALL SHORT
- Familiarity:
- I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
Gave this as a gift to my husband and has worn them all summer long. Great casual and comfy short. Very light weight but made out of durable material.

Love Hybrid pants.
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I'm never buying any other kind of pants Why buy shorts AND swimming trunks? Why have more than 5 pairs of shorts? Between these and the backcountry brand I am set for the next few years. BUT, I'll be sure to come back here and buy another couple pairs when these are through. I think that might be a decade or so though. Lifelong customer The perfect gift too !

Don?t insult these shorts with underwear
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
These are the ultimate utility shorts! I?ve routinely taken them from the bike, to the water, to the bar and they handle the task with aplomb! I love the internal draw string for fine-tuning the fit when they get wet. Be warned though they will dry faster than your underwear. Don?t wear undies and problem solved!

Howler Brothers horizon 2.0 hybrid shorts are my new go-to shorts. Pocket layout is perfect with zippers and snaps just where you want them. Fit is perfect for me and runs true to size.

Trouble with sizing
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I wear a size 33 waist in just about every brand I've come across. I order these in 34 because 33 was not available at that time. Received the shorts, great material, functional pocket layout, but they felt way bigger than 34. Luckily they have a drawstring so you can cinch them up. Flash forward a month, I decide to order another pair and do so in my usual waist size of 33. They arrive and I can barely button them. I decided to keep them anyway. Just be aware of the somewhat weird sizing. Otherwise, a decent pair of shorts for water fun.
