Cheap products
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Having purchased multiple speedgoat 4 and other products chasing that comfort and hoping the product failure was an anomaly, reality hit - hoka charges high prices for cheap products. They are comfortable but will fail when you need them the most. Sole feel apart leaving me walking miles barefoot back to car. There are better products at similar price. And I've been a hoka advocate, check previous posts.

I like them so much!
They look & feel great! I probably should have bought half a size up but they were sold out. I will wear them as long as I can each day, I like them that much! LoL

Fit small
For trail use I usually size up from a 12 to a 13. The speedboat 4's are shorter and narrower so I sized up to a 14 Wide and they are still snug.

great shoes
I used a pair of Spead Goat 4 with a 60lb vest to train for Philmont 80 mile hike. Bought a second pair just for the hike. Great shoes and highly recommend them. They held up well, very comfortable and lighter than boots. I did wear Solomon waterproof boots on trails that were extremely wet and rocky.

Most comfortable shoe ever!
I wear these six day a week for 9-10 hours a day at my job. These by far are the most comfortable shoes I have ever purchased. I had to return the first pair I ordered because they were too tight which I have never had a problem with in any other shoe. The exchange process for a wide size was flawless and quick. I wish the same colors were available in wide and standard but they are not. The one big negative I have is that these shoes are very noisy. They sound like you are wearing cleats but the sound is from sticking to the floor not being hard. I would not be able to sneak up on anyone and honestly it is very annoying. This would be the only reason I would be hesitant on purchasing another pair. I contacted customer support and they said it should wear in after about 30 days but they are still noisy. These are worn indoors on painted and tile floors and both are just as loud.

most comfortable shoes I have ever had
I use these shoes anytime I must be on shoes a lot of hours. I have bought 2 pairs exactly alike so that one pair stays nice and I am not shy about wearing the older pair when doing dirty projects

They are alright
The grip is great, but the fit could be a little bit better. They fit a little bit loose. More than just a little extra room for the toes. Going down a size made the shoes too small though. This is my fifth pair of Hoka's and even though I love the cushioning hokas provide, the fit could be better on all of them. I think it's time to start looking for a new brand for my running shoes.

Good stable trail walking sneaker
This sneaker fit me well, especially due to my wide feet. It has a nice tapered front portion which helps hold my feet in place better. Really liked the wider lacing system. Allows to fit feet better. Also has a unique tongue that is thinner than normal. This allowed a better fit as well but was still comfortable. I use these sneakers on sloped dirt trails that include rocks of many sizes and tree roots. Very Stable!

Excellent for Senior Softball League
Finding wide shoes for softball is difficult. Never with Hoka! I have bought many Clifton's over the years & very happy to find these shoes to use and replace with the same for years to come as I play year-round and will be continually ordering. Keep making these shoes!!!

Almost perfect hiking shoe
I have wide feet so I bought a half size larger and got the 2E and they fit perfectly. The only real gripe I have about these shoes is the overlays on the upper, which start coming apart within a few miles of wearing them. If Hoka could put the Speedgoat 4 cushioning together with the Speedgoat 5 uppers, I think it would be a perfect shoe.
