Great jacket!
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
This jacket keeps me warm and dry in any weather! I’ve had this for 2 years now. Fits well and I can layer under if needed, but the pockets are great and the hood stays on with lots of adjustment. Would recommend for any winter riding, a little too hot for spring.

One Waist Adjustment From Perfect
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Love this jacket, it represents some very thoughtful design. The battery-saving chest pocket for your phone is a good example, and the oversized zipper pulls and burly-toothed zipper is another. Length is good, shoulder fit is good, helmet-sized hood, underarm vents, powder skirt, stretch cuffs with thumb holes, ski pass arm pocket all check the boxes. Plenty of pockets everywhere for the stuff you may want for a day on the mountain. My only recommendation for improvement would be to add a waist adjustment. The overall cut is more of a "parka" cut and this is emphasized by the parka-style front pockets. This gives it a bit of a flared look that begs an internal adjustment for the waist. For those of us who are not the matching pear shape I would love to have some cinch for a more fitted option. It's one great looking and functioning jacket without it, and with it would be perfect--something for HH's R&D department. The black marbled pattern and HH logos seem a bit less pronounced in person, which works well--at more than a few feet away it has the feel of a blacked-out jacket. The large stylized HH across the back is printed in black on the jacket I received, a difference from the one shown and much more subtle. Overall very happy with this and looking forward to many ski miles in it.

Great jacket for tall people at resorts
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I'm tall (6'4", 192cm) and it's hard to find good coats that are long enough in sleeves and waist, but not super bulky or too huge in chest. This one has some insulation, but not too much. I've had it in 35F weather (with pits open), and 1F (feels like minus 8F windy) (with another layer underneath) and it works great in all these conditions. I use this at resorts with lifts (as opposed to working hard hiking or cross country skiing) and it works great in all these locations. The sleeves are a little long even for me, but I'm fine with it. The pockets are great (the sleeve one for a ski pass, two chest ones, and two bigger hand ones). It's also easy to recognize me when skiing with friends (as opposed to having a black coat where everyone looks the same). Not all HH coats fit like this one (I tried several), so this fit for tall people seems anomalous (which was good for me). Below, I said "runs large" because of the length of the sleeves and back.
