Why We Like The Sogn Cargo Pant
When it's a bluebird day after a fresh powder dump, we leave an OOO message, pull on the Sogn Cargo, and start skinning. The breathable build and inner-thigh vents prevent our baselayer from getting sweat logged, while the light wind- and waterproofing stop powdery gusts from soaking through. With heat-trapping fibers keeping our glutes and knees from freezing up, we revel in soft, pillowy turns from sunup to sundown.

Dye lot doesn’t match
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
Upset that I picked this and the exact same color from the manufacturer directly doesn’t match the color sent to me by Back Country. Not their fault, just frustrating.

Pretty nice pants.
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
They are good pants, vents work, they keep the cold out, and moisture too. They crinkle when you move. The legs are long, and I am not. Other than that, it all works. There's a pocket and anchor for your beacon, and function of everything is spot on. Snap em up people. I'm going to jem mine and talk more so I don't hear the crinkle.

FIT PERFECT/DURABILITY EHHH

THUNDER THIGHS APPROVED. 10/10 this gets 4 stars due to the fit and warmth. Pro skiers that stay on their feet will definitely appreciate these. If your like me and often find your skis in the pattern of a helicopter, surrounded by a dust bowl of fresh Pow, 10 Din letting, go losing both sticks and face down in the snowpack, I wouldn’t recommend. The rip stop is holding well, but without the protective effect of the legendary pants - or other “ski” oriented pants, it’s tough to give 5 stars for ski pants that don’t hold well against the edge of a fresh pair of Armada’s, Rossi’s, or Atomics. I have several razor cuts along the bottom from both my sticks and other riders who have come in and taken me out at Mach speed. BUY FOR WARMTH AND FIT AT THE BOTTOM OF THE HILL WITH THE PLATINUM BLONDES AND IPA BREWS.

Sogn Cargo Pant - better for *Not Skinny
I am 5'11", 215 lb with big thighs. I bought both the Sogn and the Legendary Insulated Pant (LIP) in a LARGE. I am a 35-36" waist but need good room in the butt and thighs. The LIP is a bit thinner (less insulated) than the Sogn but a less roomy fit (skinny fit). The Sogn seems to have more room in the waist, thighs and butt. I am keeping the Sogn and returning the LIP. Have fun out there.
