Why We Like The Helly Hansen Elevation Infinity 2.0 Jacket
In an effort to keep our powder deep, Helly Hansen designed the Elevation Infinity 2.0 Jacket's waterproof, breathable protection without the use of harmful chemicals in the membrane or face fabric. Like most high-end waterproof membranes, the LIFA INFINTY PRO™ delivers reliable waterproof, breathable protection that ensures we'll be dry when we're scoring soft stashes of snow off skintracks and chairlifts. Helly Hansen also packed the chest pocket with Primaloft Erogel to ensure our phone stays charged through the coldest days.

Best ski jacket ever
Super glad I bought this jacket for ski season. I have the bright orange one. On cold days, I add layers underneath. It has perfect amount of pockets and its not super bulky.

Infinity 2.0 Jacket size issues
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
This is just a review on the size. The jacket is pretty good and you can read other more in-depth reviews for more on the quality and features. I ordered mine in off season so I can't speak for how good it will be on the slopes and in rough conditions. It seems pretty good from just putting it on around the house. I ordered both the XXL and the XL sizes for the jacket. According to the sizing chart and online tech assistance I bought the XXL. I'm 6'2" 210lbs with an athletic build. I'm in my 40s and keep active but I'm not a body builder/fitness fanatic by any means. I was swimming in the XXL even though I matched up with the 47" chest size and longer arm for the XXL. It was huge in all areas. I'd say if you are 260lbs+ then it might be useful. I also use a spine/body armor chest protector and it was still huge with that on. Definitely more for the 6'4"+ and larger body types. The XL fit great for my size. Maybe still a little more than I would want around the midsection. I prefer a more tapered area there to help keep snow out and not feel like it's too baggy. Overall a much better fit but could be a little slimmer fit. I did keep the XL and will write a new review in the winter to see how it actually works in the Utah cold winters. Hopefully I can get a good powder day, a snowy preseason day and a cold day to really test the limits.

5 Stars for Quality But Fit is Not Ideal
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
Writing this for reference to others. This jacket seems like it would be amazing/bulletproof but unfortunately I had to return due to the fit. I'm 5'11" ~210 (42" chest / 34" waist). Ordered a Large. Like some other HH stuff I've tried, the shoulders & chest fit well and are borderline tight - but the torso/bottom of the jacket is way to baggy/big for me. Wanted to love the jacket but fit just wasn't right. Hope this helps others.

BEST SHELL I?VE EVER OWNED!!!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I?ve been skiing around the globe for 40+ years, and having worked on mountain in Aspen, I?ve used every brand of technical kit you can imagine. This new line from Helly Hansen has raised the bar, period. Believe me, I?ve tried to find fault w/this jacket, but I?ve got to say, I?m REALLY impressed! Very thoughtful details - it?s clear HH is listening to the professionals, from pocket placement to sizing/articulation, cuffs, zippers, phone protection, int storage, Recco, lift pass accessibility, venting, fabric durability, sustainability, etc? especially love the fluorescent orange detail on the hood - great safety feature! From the moment you lay your hands on this shell, you will def realize that this is a piece of serious technical gear? w/the price to match!

- I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
Purchased as a gift. Nice quality jacket, just didn?t like the orange color which was more neon orange than in photo.
