Why We Like The 12in Deck Boot
It's summer, and we're trading in our ski and snowboard boots for Grunden's 12in Deck Boot to get us through the fishing season. Fully waterproof and with a taller design, our feet will stay dry when we're miles from shore. The grippy bottom ensures we're not slipping around when finding our footing on a rocking boat.

Awesome Boot!
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I normally don’t do reviews…. Been about 6 months since my purchase. Bought this deck boot for deep sea fishing and been amazing so far after two trips on the ocean. Kept feet warm, dry and very comfortable and grippy on boat. Will put it to the test this summer for tunas trip. Used it for shoreline fishing as well work around house during winter months. My shoe size is 8.5 but bought size 9 for this boot and fits well. Bought another pair for my bro after he tried mine on. No complaints. Recommended to a buddy as well Excellent quality!!! Will buy again

Mixed feelings !!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Gotta say the boot was very comfortable even with smaller size. Maybe next size would have been too big. That being said, I wore them for the first time on my last fishing trip and slipped on the deck and broke a rib. Being what I though a top notch fishing boot, I figured slipping would not be an issue. After the visit to the ER I viewed the bottom of boot, I noticed inadequate siping. Bottom was NOT siped on entire sole !! My buddies boot is supposedly a lesser grade of fishing boot and said he didn’t slip whatsoever. Go figure!! As far as grippy bottoms ….. gotta see for yourself but be careful “test the water!!”
