Monaco II Gel Glove - Men's

Refined padding for long-distance jaunts.
From touring across Napa's vineyards to cranking up Colorado's Loveland Pass, the Giro Monaco II Gel Glove maintains comfort for the long haul with its cushy gel padding, well-ventilated design, and superior fit. Technogel padding dissipates jarring vibration coming through the handlebars. This is especially useful on longer rides where wrist and hand fatigue are common.
Maintaining grip and dexterity, the Pittards ventilated leather palm maintains tactile control between your hands and bars. Breathable mesh along the backside maintains a cool, comfortable feel, especially when temperatures climb into oppressive realms. For rides when you're sweating profusely, the microfiber thumb lends a soft, absorbent wiping surface.

My only go to glove

I love this glove. It is snug, comfortable and perfect, even used it for a recent IRONMAN. It is the most perfect padding. I love this glove

Runs Very Small

I normally have a medium glove from Giro but you need to go up two sizes larger for this model. I could barely take it off and cut off my blood circulation. Also may rip when removing these.

They felt and fit great initially

I've had 2 pairs of these. They fit and work fantastically for a few months. Because I have arthritis in both thumbs, these are one of the few gloves that provide just the right amount of padding, not too much, not too little and in all the right places. But, both pair stretched and then tore in one or more places, making the gloves useless. I don't recommend them unless you want a glove for less than 1500 miles of riding.

Trash

The Giro Monoco Gloves have evolved from being a very good mid priced glove ten years ago to being absolute trash on the current version. Stitching tears in hours, uncomfortable, they don't last. I'd like to say to to XYZ company for good gloves but I haven't found that company yet.
