Bomber Jacket

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Bomber jacket that is great for a resort days but still feel like it is going to be great in the backcountry(no days in this yet). Sizing is on the larger size, but feel like this is perfect given that it is a shell that was designed to be layered underneath. Pockets are big and useful, pit zips are easy to access, hood fits perfectly over a helmet, and lastly, it looks perfect with the matching Baker bibs. Only thing I would change would be the main zipper I wish had a slightly larger pull tab.

Great jacket, buy a size smaller

Title says it all. Great jacket, but you'll definitely want a size down, maybe two sizes down.

Flylow Quantum Pro Jacket

My favorite jacket from Flylow. Runs just a little big so I buy a Large. I’m 6.2” 210 and plenty of space to move around and bend down. Love BACKCOUNTRY!! No shipping fees and easy to return items if needed, at no cost to the customer. Best online outdoor store anywhere!

Excellent!

I have to say I was skeptical after reading all the negative reviews about the sizing, but I’m 5’11”-175 lbs and the Med fits perfect. Lots of pockets and the fabric seems very breathable and high quality . Can’t wait to test it out in the backcountry this season.

It’s nice but…

Not as durable as the description. I bought this in February 2023. Had a wear issue with the Baker Bib so I decided to make sure my jacket was good well it’s not it’s beginning to wear through after only 3mos. I thought this would be dang near indestructible according to the description and the price . It’s a great jacket but I expected a lot more.

Reliable Jacket

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I've had this jacket for over two years with double winters in North and South America, and it has held up very well. The pockets on this jacket are huge and very useful. The size fits a bit bigger than expected, which I honestly like. The vents are very comfortable and big, very nice for hiking and hot days. Hood straps also work very well to put the hood over your helmet on those very cold days.

Awesome jacket but not the right fit

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I wanted one of these for years. I finally pulled the trigger on a 2019 Quantum Pro in ?wave.? I was initially disappointed the color as the images didn?t seem to represent how much of a green undertone there was with the blue... but it grew on me. Now I really like the color. At first it seemed a bit stiff... but that too grew on me. I like being able to toss a pair of planks on my shoulder without worrying about slicing up my jacket. It?s nice to squeeze through a tight spot in the glade without fixing a ripped sleeve. However, I can?t get past the size. At 5?9? and 175 I?m a pretty solid ?M? in most things. But this bad boy fits me like a burlap sack. I have a long inseam for my height and a shorter torso. The sleeves hang past my middle finger tips. The waist hem is halfway down to my knees. I wanted a laying piece for sidecountry. But I can?t imagine hiking in this tent. I kinda look like a kid wearing his dad?s jacket (if my dad had much better taste!) A small might have been a better choice. But by the time I was able to make turns in this thing, it was waaaay to late for an exchange/return. In the meantime I made an impulse buy on a Patagonia Powder Bowl. Its sizing is more consistent with my needs.
