Why We Like The FlyLow Chemical Pant
FlyLow's timeless Chemical Pant is back for another season of rugged, resort-ready style. The baggy, relaxed fit offers a signature silhouette for powder hounds and park rats alike, and it leaves lots of room for layers on the coldest days of the ski season. Equipped with a new Surface waterproof membrane, these pants keep snow out and warmth locked in. But no worries about the heat: excess vents on the inner and outer thigh regulate temperature while bootpacking out of bounds.

Durability issues
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
These pants somehow ripped from sitting on my poles on the lift first day on the hill. Disappointing for a 50/50 pant. Great color, fit and pockets, but the material durability leaves a lot to be desired.

Love these pants
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I love the subtle pink color of these. But they are also a very high quality technical shell pant. Reinforced where needed. Good material. Good looking. 6’ 195lbs, butt. Size large. Refreshing to see from Flylow considering I find their choice of colors typically dark, drab and REI.

Pant version of Baker Bib
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I've gotten 3 different pairs of Baker Bibs throughout the years and wanted to try a regular pant from Flylow. The Chemical pants are basically the same durable materials and feel, just without the bib. I got the Large because I like them to fit a little baggy around the legs, just my preference. True to size though. Highly recommend these to anyone wanting to try some regular Flylow pants!!

Most durable pants out there!
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
If you are looking for a durable pair of pants that will last your for multiple seasons, these are for you! I am a ski bum that shreds 100+ days a season and I live in these pants all day everyday in the winter. I wake up in the morning in my bus conversion and put these on, shred all day, and then they stay on till the day is over and I am crawling back into bed! Stoked to have high quality pants that last for folks like me!

Great quality, poor fit, size issues
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I can't knock the quality. Flylow makes great gear and these pants are no exception. That said, the Medium is HUGE. I'm a pretty solid Medium when it comes to bottoms and wear 30-32" waist trousers depending upon the brand. Even with the velcro straps cinched as tight as possible, the Chemical Pants were too big. The legs are oversized too. It's not a flattering cut. Lots of fabric bunching up in places. If you like a super baggy pants, these might be right for you. I suggest sizing down. I was also disappointed with the color. The Vista color is not accurate on any of my devices. Not only is the color a deeper green in person, it's more muted and dull. The closest color comparison I can make is when you get a sinus infection and your snot turns green. It's that kind of green. I'm still giving the pants four stars because they seem to be great quality. Knocking off one star for ridiculous sizing and wildly inaccurate color. I considered trying a size Small, but deep down I don't believe the cut is to my liking.

These, as others have stated, are rather baggy and long. A good 2-3" longer than my Flylow Magnum Pro Pants, which fit great, but two years in, aren't as waterproof as they once were. Anyways, these pants are probably cool if you're at least 6'.

Fit larger and cut my leg
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I wore my old Chemical pants for eight seasons of 50-100 days a season and couldn’t ask for more so it was a no brained to get another pair. I bought the same size (large) but the new ones are three inches longer and baggier all around so I will be exchanging for a medium. More importantly there is a small housing for the outer leg vent made out of seam tape that is very rigid and it cut the back of my knee after a day of touring; not cool. The last problem I had with the fit is that the low hanging crotch was restricting for kick turns without having them pulled up to my belly button. I really hope these issues will be resolved by going down a size since I loved my old Chemical Pants but as is they were a let down.
