Why We Like The Fishpond San Juan Vertical Chest Pack
It's not as ubiquitous as the San Juan worm, but Fishpond's San Juan Vertical Chest Pack is a pared-down chest pack that's been holding its own for almost twenty years. Made to travel light, its main compartment holds one or two fly boxes while it also features external attachment points for accessories and a convenient, zip-down fly bench that opens up front for easy access to things we use all the time on the water. It's primarily made to be worn high on the chest, but the San Juan's shoulder straps also let us use it like a sling pack while its belt loops let us wear it as a waist or lumbar pack, too.
