Argo Vento R1 Saddle
Fizik’s Argo Vento R1’s short nose design is ideal for keeping an aggressive forward position on the bike to earn bragging rights at the county line or the crit finish. The Argo is Fizik’s most versatile saddle shape, meant to fit a wide range of riders. A proper fit and the stable shaping of the Argo Vento translates to a greater pedaling efficiency, rather than shifting fore and aft to find a comfortable position. The ergonomic center cutout and dropped nose design prevents numbness and pressure on soft tissue so we can focus on our pedal stroke, while the reactive foam padding optimizes power transfer and rider comfort.

This is the best saddle I've ever used. It just disappears. Comfortable for all hip angles. No numbness.

So far, so good

To summarize my use with this saddle, I have done rides lasting anywhere from two to seven hours with it. I've used this saddle for the past year, riding thousands of miles with it, and I am happy to say that it has served me very well in that time. This saddle perfectly balances weight with comfort (for a saddle meant for racing, that is). I haven't had any outstanding issues with this during my use, so I absolutely recommend this saddle for those of you who need a more comfortable power saddle. If you're sensitive to a hard saddle, or if you do not own a chamois, this probably isn't the saddle for you...

Not too hard, not too soft, just right.

I've really struggled to find a saddle that fits me properly. I spent last season on a Pro Vibe Stealth, and liked it well enough, but once I transitioned to indoor riding, where there was less movement on long intervals, the lack of padding became a bit too spartan. At first, I tried the Argo Tempo in search of a bit more padding, but I found it too soft. I would sink into it and get hot spots and numbness. I've found this to be a good in between between those two. Still not perfect, but as close as I've found, after using it on all day rides, indoor training sessions, etc. I did have to get my original saddle warrantied after the softer rubber wings separated at the edge of the saddle where they connect to the stiff carbon edge. Fizik was super easy to deal with and they just sent me a new saddle.
