GA3 Grips

Riding in comfort and control is key to tackling technical trails, and Ergon lends a helping hand with the GA3 Grips. These light and comfortable grips offer a small winged shape so support your palm and keep your wrists in a more natural position, allowing you to maintain tactile feel, while working to reduce wrist fatigue. This works by offering a flatter surface for your palm to rest on, correcting your hand position to alleviate pressure on the carpel tunnel nerve, and reducing pain while riding. The GA3's are crafted from lightweight and supportive rubber that dampens vibrations from the trail, saving you energy and boosting comfort while you ride. They lock into place with a single, lightweight aluminum lock ring to ensure you ride with a secure grip from top to bottom.

Comfortable

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Look good, and they're comfortable. Didn't address my numb hands/fingers issue I'm having this year. Still playing with setup and fit to resolve the issue. These might work for some folks, but didn't work for me. Still keeping them in my rotation until I find the right setup.

Great MTB grips

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Got these babies on my bars just in time for a BC bike trip and they were great for all the terrain we encountered. I like the ability to sort of rest my hands on climbs with the flat portion of the grip. Ergon grips rawk!

Greatly reduces wrist fatigue in old guy

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I'm pushing 50 and thought that wrist discomfort was just a fact of life of mountain biking, but not so. These grips have reduced that old-guy ache by quite a bit, eliminating it on more leisurely rides. It forces you to position your hands correctly (for whatever type of riding you do the most.) I'm 6'1" and it took me a couple tries to adjust them to where I like them, but once they're set they're great. Nice and sticky material. The grips have survived one pretty good wreck so far, though not a direct hit to the end of the bar. The purple color looks pretty boss against my orange bike, to boot. Very happy with these grips.
