Classic Rope Bag
DMM's Classic Rope Bag gets all your climbing essentials to and from crags, faraway walls, and the local gym. With a 31 liter capacity, the Classic can store one 80-meter rope as well as draws, harness, and shoes, or you can fit two 60-meter half ropes and more gear with careful packing. This backpack converts into a messenger bag by removing one of the shoulder straps and attaching it to the front. This is extra convenient when you have an extra backpack with more gear.

Good for rope but that’s it
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
If you are looking for a bag with additional storage this isn’t it. The small pocket is just big enough for a grigri. You could get some shoes in the main compartment along with a 40m rope but it is tight.

Great rope bag!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I just got into climbing and I'm hooked, but I still don't know much, so I plan on top ropping with a group of friends for now. It fits my 70m 9.8 rope, harness, chalk bag, anchor setup with room to spare. Climbing shoes clipped on the outside. I could definitely fit a set of quickdraws once I upgrade to sports climbing. And maybe a light trad rack too. I was worried what the bag would look like in person because all the reviews online showed the older model with different colored straps. I give it A+ looks with A+ simplicity, utility and durability. Would definitely recommend for a good no-nonsense rope bag.
