Runs extremely large
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
The boot looks cool and is very lightweight. However, the sizing is terribly off. The boot runs extremely large. I am size 11. The size 11 of these boots leaves about an inch between the tip of my toe and the end of the boot. Backcountry wants to charge me to send these back when they are selling a defective item.

Rumble in the Jungle
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I will be the first to admit that I am a huge Danner fan, and I am very excited to have added these to my Danner lineup. These are quite a bit different than any other boots that I own, but Danner managed to infuse their incredible style into a very different iteration on their boots. The upper is made out of a nylon canvas material, which gives the upper section of the boot some extra give and comfort (and less structure). The subtle camo-looking pattern on the grey version looks great and goes very well with the nylon canvas materialization. I have received socially distanced compliments on these the few times I have been able to wear them outside during quarantine life. These run just a tad bit large.
