Why We Like The Cyclone 4L Hip Pack
We appreciate the Cyclone Hip Pack's bolstered water protection when we're paddling across lakes. It might not protect our phones fully submerged, but its waterproof zipper and Cordura construction fend off all the splashes that drip all over our gear. The Cyclone has enough room for all the essentials for paddling around for an hour or so. Sunscreen, phones, and maybe even a layer can stuff inside.

Bought 2. Both fell apart
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Poor quality. Glue used for seams came apart on both of mine. Had to reglue every single seam with gearaid aqua seal neoprene glue on both bags

Works great!
Other reviewers saying it leaks aren’t closing this zipper 100%. This thing is airtight once all zippers have been closed properly. If anything the zipper is super stiff so add lubricant to have it zip clanly

Poor Quality
- Familiarity:

The bag is cool but the glued seams failed in multiple locations the first use. All I had in there was my wallet and diapers. Dakine is unresponsive with warranty requests and Backcountry will not except it as a return. I would keep looking for a different hip pack if I were you!
