This all-rounder balances extra volume with responsive construction to make everything from learning to hanging ten not only possible, but fun. Thin epoxy layer
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
The epoxy layer on this board is super thin, making the board very fragile. First day out and I had three dents and a crack in the nose. Second day out I put a hole in the deck. Third day out cracked the rail. The epoxy layer is so thin that I feel like if I tried I could put a hole in it by pressing hard with my thumb. I wouldn't say I'm the most careful person with my gear but I also wouldn't say I'm careless. Surfs well, its fun and light but not durable. It won't last that long surfing anywhere where there are rocks around, may be a better board for beach breaks.
