Time for a new seat post.

It’s been a few weeks now and I’m glad I went with this post. After installing it and making a few adjustments on the first few ride I couldn’t be more pleased. My last dropper post had a good life and honestly I was riding with it locked in place for a few years and thought I for the majority of the rides I do and the terrain I’m on I really don’t need a dropper. But after debating it I decided to get another dropper. I don’t use it that much but when I do it’s nice to know it’s there. Hopefully it lasts a while but I’m happy with it so far.

Better then expected

Smooth smooth a bit longer then stock travel which was perfect but the lighter action is pretty nice. It looks good and fits my Ripmo. It gives a bit better travel then stock and is a bit lighter. We will see how it holds up.

I had a well known hydraulic actuated seat post that came with the bike. They are known for being intolerant to the temperatures below 32 degrees. After a couple trips to the bike shop and a rebuild, it was never right. I went to a Carbon Fiber seatpost for a while because of the hassle. I recently purchased a Highline 7 Dropper Seatpost and was pleasantly surprised how it performed. It is no wonder that it has higher reviews than most other dropper posts. A very good value
