Why We Like The Cielo Rain Anorak
We like weather protection in the form of anoraks, and the Cotopaxi Cielo Rain Anorak impresses us with solid, year-round protection as well as a retro-inspired style to rep on and off the mountain. It has similar protection as some ski jackets, so you know it'll be reliable when wet weather tries to ruin our camping trips.

Excellent Form & Function
I wanted a jacket to break the breeze while biking and this jacket is above and beyond expectations! Absolutely cute and the kangaroo pocket is perfect for the small items I pack biking. Thanks Cotopaxi!

Wife loves it
- Familiarity:
- I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
Caught this on sale like 50% off. My wife loves it. Nice quality and great colors of course. My wife is 5'4 and a S fits great.

Not exactly waterproof
Used today for the first time and was soaked after a couple of hours hiking in the rain. It was a good wind blocker though!

I love this jacket! Super
I love this jacket! Super cute and not too heavy. Great for my trip to the Amalfi Coast in Italy, where rainstorms travel in and out.

Generously sized, thoughtfully designed
I haven’t had a chance to wear it in the rain, but I did try it on and it fits well over my hips and even has side zippers in case you need it wider. Very comfortable and sturdy, excited to try it out in the rain.

Rain coat
Love everything about it but the size. It does run small compared to a vest and fleece jacket I bought.

Great protection and stylish colors!
Got this before heading to Seattle and it was perfect. Using it frequently in LA with the rains now, too, and I love it.

Not waterproof!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I got this cutie and loved the color and fit, but it got soaked in the rain! It's like zero waterproof. Luckily, I was on Grand Cayman, so it was warm out, but getting to the restaurant after a two-block walk in the rain, my top underneath was SOAKED. It was freezing, sitting in air conditioning with a wet top. Sadly, for the price, I expected better.

Perfect rain coat
I’ve been using mine as a soft shell for skiing and as a rain jacket does a great job at both!

Intended for Ski jacket
I got this thinking I’d layer under it for skiing, but the XL is massive! Much too big, even with all my ski layers
