Built for the ride.
Sure, cutoff jeans are economical and work just fine for short-distance rides, but when you're in the saddle for more than a few minutes at a time, shorts actually designed for the rigors of riding make all the difference. That's where Chrome's new Folsom Shorts come in.
These shorts are made from the water-resistant, durable 4-way stretch Everest fabric, which means that they're going to pull sweat away from your skin and repel moisture at the exterior. In other words, you're going to stay dry, cool, and comfortable throughout your ride.
In terms of construction, Chrome cut the Folsoms specifically for riding. There's a five-bar webbing U-Lock holster, the rear pockets are "floating" to prevent chafing, the crotch is double-gusseted and seamless, and the shorts are sewn with a three-needle flatlock stitch throughout in order to prevent irritation. Your skin will thank you for leaving the cutoff dungarees in the closet.
Note: Chrome has updated the fit this season to be more true-to-size. So, if your old pair of Folsoms fit fine, you'll want to buy one size smaller this go-round.
