Why We Like The Prima Short
Castelli sets a high standard when it comes to performance cycling apparel, and the Prima Shorts receive comfort and elite-level design at an affordable price-point. Shorts with a bib-design are common in form-fitting cycling bottoms, however, shorts offer an appealing versatility that removes the hassle of controlling and concealing bibs, whether in spin-class or on the open road—not to mention decluttering nature-breaks. Castelli's Pro Dry Soft Lycra form-fits and supports during your most intense workouts, and as the temperatures rise, sweat is efficiently wicked away to help you finish strongly.
Castelli brings high performance to the Prima's chamois as well with the KISS AIR2 and an updated top-cloth for all-day softness and comfort. Giro3 leg grippers keep the shorts in place during sprint efforts, and the reflective details add low-light visibility as you chase the sunset.

Poor quality
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I bought these in full confidence and support for previous Castelli shorts. I wore them twice on the trainer (they are tight!) and then braved them out on the road. Immediately when exposed to the elements (the summer heat), the logo started to peel. I am unhappy with these, but have worn them and it’s been over a month so I am stuck with them. Will stick to brands with better results for the miles I put into cycling shorts.

My new favorites but run small.
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I sized up after reading the other reviews and it was a good thing that I did. I normally wear a small in Gore but ordered a medium and they were perfect. 5?8? 125 pounds. The chamois Is perfect for me. According to their size chart I should have ordered a small but the medium was perfect.
