The padding consists of the Castelli Damping System, designed and engineered to reduce discomfort and numbness associated with grabbing the handlebar for extended periods of time. Castelli carefully mapped key parts of the hand in order to create optimal protection from steady road vibrations. The end result is a unique palm construction that features a combination of protective materials and cushioning foams.

My favorite light gloves

I love these so much I've bought 2 more pairs. The wrist is just the right size, without bulky or itchy velcro. The thumb is very comfortable even on long +5 hour rides. Perfect for hot weather: very breathable & light.
