Why We Like The Traverse 3 Ski Poles
Meticulously designed for the splitboarder that explores deep into the heart of the mountains, the Traverse 3 Poles are packed with uphill-specific features. Among the highlights are the grips that feature an oversized lip at the top to help us easily adjust our bindings on the go. The poles pack down super small for the descent, yet still feature an extended rubber grip for choking up on the poles while side-hilling or navigating tricky kick-turns.

Good product
The sticks are really good, the clippers are very good and durable. Being able to enlarge the poles with two sections allows you to have a large pole size

Solid
I was trying to figure out the difference between these and the expedition. The only real difference is the grip. These have two rubber grips with metal in between. The expeditions have one long foam handle. Just fyi. User preference. These are probably fine.

Traverse ski poles
Great Ski poles. Love the length adjustment. The locking mechanism is strong enough to never have any slippage while in use.

Great product
Great poles, super durable and light weight. Pack down super small too. Attachment system for the snow cape is a bit confusing but overall a really great product.

Could not figure out how
Could not figure out how to get the powder baskets on that came with these poles and lost them the first use. Luckily had some backup baskets that popped right on. Other than that these poles are pretty nice, light weight and seem to be durable

sturdy
bought these for light touring. Light and well balanced, but sturdy. Really like the reliable locking mechanism and the wrist strap feels good while skiing on the flat and uphill! Only downside is how hard and awkward it is to fit in the powder baskets. It took a few youtube videos to reassure me that the amount of force needed to screw them in would not break the whole thing. That being said, this is a one time deal. Once they are in place, they look like they'll stay firmly in place for good!

Extremely functional
Purchased these extremely versatile poles for use in several different applications. Longer lengths for skinning up hill and summer hiking. Collapsing for storage and work as a ski patroller. Also, to try shorter than traditional (90-degree elbow measurement to the hip) for aggressive downhill and bump skiing. Using shorter poles in this situation has helped me better utilize the newest ski technology with easier side to side edging and less upper body movement. They have been fantastic in all 3 settings. I do have a small concern about the longevity of the locking mechanisms, but they are very easy to use and there are replacement parts available. Poles will sometimes slip under heavy pressure but I'm sure this also helps keep them from bending. Wil recommend, will purchase again.
