too long & baggy in a bad way

The pants are too long and baggy in a weird, unflattering way. The material seems comfy and resistant to abrasion, though. BD needs to work on the fit of these pants before they'll be wear-worthy for me.

excelent pants!

Got XS size, fits very well. I'm 5ft4in, floor to belly button 3ft3in. The pants sits right below my belly button and reaches my akles. Fabric feels soft and seems resistant, enough room around the leg and hips to allow full leg movement. I recommend it!

Do you enjoy going into a climbing excursion feeling like the love child of an African Rhino and Alex Honnold? Then these are the pants for you! Bought them about a month ago for outdoor (and indoor) climbing. Very impressed with how they have held up against friction/abuse from my harness, the walls, and rock faces! Only downside is the swamp-effect and chafing in warmer temps/humidity - unless of course you enjoy a raw chicken look at your waist and thighs...sure had me wishing for a little more ventilation (even in the Spring). Thankfully, the elastic bottoms allowed for some creative rolling or moonshining wouldn't have been the only thing going down in the KY heat! If you are looking for a great pair of pants overall (when used in early mornings and cooler temps*), Add to Cart.

Miss the old fit!
I bought a pair of BD Notion pants in 2019 when I started climbing and they were the perfect pant on the wall, puttering around the house, or going out when you don't want to wear sweats and you don't want to wear jeans. I loved them so much I wore huge holes in the crotch and after repairing them probably 4-5 times, i surrendered to the idea of getting new pants. The new Notion pants are not the same fit, they are way more tighter in the butt and thighs and give me camel toe. I could be wrong but I think the old pants were 100% cotton as they had no stretch -- these have 2% elastane which makes them feel hot (temperature, not seggsy), cheap, and like they're going to get absolutely shredded by my very strong (thick) thighs. I see pretty much all the reviews say these run large, but my old Notions were a small, and my new notions, also a small, are wayyyy tighter. Hoping they stretch out. Honestly, the thing I'm happiest about is that the Storm Blue color is cooler in real life than in the pics -- I was worried they were more of a Spring blue but they are definitely a perfect Summer blue.

REALLY wanted to love these, the material and color were very nice. The fit.... pretty subpar like other reviewers mentioned, wish I would have listened so I didn't have to go through the return process. 5'3 and 125# and sized down to an XS for reference, was super tight on my booty but absolutely gapping in the waist.

Read a bunch of reviews and ordered a medium. Fit was terrible. Returned immediately. But still haven’t received a refund.

Comfortable pants
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Material is soft and comfortable. Comfortable to wear. Agree material may not be tough enough for rock climbing. Runs on the large side so best to buy a size down. Wish had 1 zipper pocket. Back pockets are too long and as such not functional for carrying anything and front pocket somewhat shallow.

Comfortable material
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
The cotton material is nice, just what I was looking for. The front pockets are awkward and pucker strangely. These are the kind of pants that grow a bit as you wear them and the crotch in the front starts looking strange. That in combination with the gappy pockets makes these pants awkward. So, these are good for general use, but you will probably want to wear a different pair when you get together with your friends... These pants not worth the price.
