From uniformly spaced sandstone cracks to blocky bolted limestone walls, the Black Diamond Momentum Package is ready to send. The harness's Dual Core Construction keeps us light and streamlined for squeezing in tight spaces or attempting a redpoint, while the adjustable leg loops accommodate bulky alpine layers and thinner desert garb alike. Whether we're racking cams or just 'draws, the four pressure-molded gear loops keep us organized, and the rear haul loop comes in handy on our multi-pitch ventures. The ATC-XP belay device is 30% lighter than the original, saving grams on our rack, while its twin machined windows allow the use of half ropes and double-rope rappels. We keep this device secured to our harness with the RockLock Screwgate carabiner that features a hot-forged construction, a redesigned spine, and a larger rope-bearing surface for lighter and better handling that lasts longer. And as we climb, the White Gold Chalk Shot stays nestled in the Mojo chalk bag clipped to our waist, ready for us to squeeze it for a boost of confidence before the crux.
