Expedition 2 Ski Poles
If you looked up the word "versatile," you'd most likely find an image of the Black Diamond Expedition 2 Ski Pole beneath the it. We love the do-anything, go-anywhere construction that this two-piece pole offers. These things are so versatile we don't even pack them up for the warm summer months.

Great poles
Strong. Light weight. Adjustable. And they look good! Just what you need poles. I saw a number of reviews saying how hard the baskets are to put on. I ran mine under hot water for maybe 15 seconds each and they popped on no problem.

Lightweight, Well-made, Look great
These poles are just what I was looking for. Sturdy construction and light enough for the price point. Plus they look cool which is half the battle in the backcountry!

Haven't used yet but wanted to share tip after reading other reviews
I haven't ski'd with these poles yet but I will say there's a lot of reviews stating that the baskets are really hard to put on. They were impossible for me until I found this trick: 1. Shorten the pole all the way 2. put the tip of the pole through something that the basket doesn't fit through such as two blocks of wood or a chain link fence 3. Turn and push the pole with a lot of weight on it (I had to use my entire body weight, standing on my tipy toes like I was using a bike pump. 4. POP! they're in! Hope this helps people :D - Koii

Super light
My wife has had a pair for a couple of years and I was envious of the light weight and extended grip. Had to have my own!

Poles
I telemark and I climb (skin) with these poles; shorter on the way down, longer on the way up. Easy to adjust. Weight is not an issue for the touring I do.

The two plastic discs (whatever
The two plastic discs (whatever they are called) at the bottom of the poles are supposed to twist on and off, but in reality, no matter how tight you twist them on, they come off with literally any movement of the pole. It is impossible to ski with them without those things coming off immediately.
