Their newly re-worked nylon material is lighter and more packable than ever, while the tried-and-true adjustable tip loops and STS tail clips ensure a solid hold on your skis. third pair
I am on my third pair, since I have three sets of skis. Easy to use, long lasting, and sticky on the snow!

Great
My sister bought the same ones 3 years ago and they’re still super sticky and work perfectly in a steep terrain! So happy to have mine now.

Wrong instructions for included off set trim tool creates double offset
The instructions say to offset the skins 2mm during trimming to expose edges but the trim tool is a new design apparently than previous BD skins I have bought. The new tool also offsets by 2mm. Fortunately I realized something was wrong early in the process.

Great Skins
These skins are so great. My previous skins were not sticking to my skis and picking up tons of snow on the climb and these were recommended by a few friends. They are smooth and dry when I get to the top and easy to use!

Best overall system
I have used Ascencion skins for years and have watched the evolution of skin design. This latest incarnation is by far the best...all you have to do is trim to fit. No hardware to deal with...it's already installed. I had mine ready to go in 15 minutes. The new skin trimming tool is a game changer...with built in offset...just lay the skins on the ski...centered...and then trim both sides. All done!

Best Skin on the Market
Sticky and grippy in the right places. Came with a tool that made cutting the skins quick, easy, and accurate.

The WORST skins - avoid at all costs
I've been using skins since the late 80s and this latest generation of these are the worst, most useless skins I've ever encountered. The glue simply comes off the backing and is left on the skis, then you're left with worthless skins, not mention the nightmare of having to ski back to wherever with snow caked on the bottom of your skis. In the backcountry this is simply too much of hazard. I cannot suggest avoiding these more strongly. I have NEVER had problems with Pomoca, or Kohla skins.

Great durability and grip, but a bit sticky and heavy
had to get a new set for wider skis and got these yet again. Durability and grip are great, but downsides being a bit more weight and not as slick as some options, so have to decide what you're looking for.
