Why We Like The Baffin Escalate Boot
When the trail is hidden under powder and ice, we tug on the Baffin Escalate Boot to explore. The waterproof construction keeps our feet dry, while the cinchable collar makes sure knee-deep snow doesn't pack in. Equipped with a multi-layer lining, this pair uses foam and synthetic fill to trap heat yet still lets our feet breathe easy, while the soft outer layer wicks away moisture to combat swamp foot. As we trudge along, the grippy rubber sole solidifies and cushions our steps.

Too much lace
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I ordered these in a size 6. They fit my foot fine, but to make them fit my leg left me with over a foot of 'shoe lace' that I didn't know what to do with. Couldn't wrap it because of the toggle, didn't like them enough to figure out what to do with the extra lace.

Like clouds on my feet
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I wear a size 9 but had to order a size 11 because that's all that was available. Actually all the extra room is nice; I suspect the 9 might have been a little small in the footbox. These boots are warm and puffy and as comfortable as slippers--I don't take them off when I get home! I haven't worn them in serious rain.
