Why We Built The Backcountry Hybrid Grid Fleece Pullover
For pole-planting, kick-turning fun, the Hybrid Grid Fleece Pullover is there to keep us warm and comfortable while we work our way up the mountain. We don this pullover for everything from dawn patrols on the skin track to ice climbs later that day. Its grid-fleece lining creates natural pockets of air that trap warmth and draw moisture away from the skin, keeping us dry and ready to move.

So Cute and Cozy!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I really love this piece so much. I got it specifically to sleep outside in the winter to keep my head warmer, but I also have been enjoying wearing it out and about. It's warmer than it's weight would suggest (as most tech fleeces are). I have really long arms and a long torso and it covers me completely without ever feeling like it's ride up. I chose this one specifically because I liked the offset zipper. When it's zipped all the way up, the zipper is on the side of your jaw, rather than right under your chin, which I have always found really uncomfortable, and specifically didn't want when I sleep. The only 2 reasons I can't give it 5 stars are 1) it gets stinky fast, though this seems to be a problem with fleece in general, as my boyfriend's tech fleece also gets smelly fast, and 2) the arm seams are prominent. This seems to be something Stoic struggles with in general, as their sun shirts also have prominent seams, but I can get past that for how wonderful the rest of the shirt is. They're not itchy, but you can feel them for a little while after your put the shirt on.
