Not for tall guys
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
It's happened before, and I should have known not to buy pants without an inseam option. I'm 6'4", 205 and typically wear a size 33 waist. I got these in a 34. They fit a little big in the waist (which was to be expected), but they are exceptionally short in the inseam. The inseam on the pants i received measured at 30", not 32". It may be okay for some, but pants that stop 2 inches above my ankle just aren't my style. No huge deal though, got these for work and not to be stylish. I knew they'd be covered in grease and dirt within 24 hours of delivery. Should have paid more heed to other reviews regarding inconsistent sizing. If they came in a tall size, or had an inseam option, I would 100% buy them again as work pants.

My favorite pants

These things look and feel great. I started with just the starfish color but loved them so much I had to get the others. I wear a size 38 and all of them have fit perfectly and consistently. Highly recommend!

Horribly inconsistent
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I have three pairs of these pants. One is my absolute favorite pair of pants and the other two might as well be completely different. They're all supposed to be 32s but the leg length and groin area fit wildly different. It's a shame. Also, the starfish color feels like a lighter fabric than my black ones.

Excellent
Very well made and comfortable. I bought Outdoor Research pants, and these are way better.

Love these BUT sizing…
- Familiarity:

I love these pants. Ordered every color. Extremely comfortable and versatile! But the sizing is really inconsistent. My black pair is totally 1 to 2 sizes bigger than what the tag says. After washing and drying them several times to try to shrink them a bit to fit, it’s very clear that they were never actually a size 28– probably a 30 or 32. Super unfortunate because I can’t return them :/ All of the other colors do fit.. However, I wouldn’t say the fit is consistent in each.

highly random fit
there is no consistency in the fit. i first ordered a size 32, which measured 18" laid flat (36" circumference): too big. so i ordered a 30, which measured 16". a 2" size drop but a 4" circumference drop: too small. so i ordered another 32. this one measured a little over 16" laid flat, so the same as the 30, and 4" less in circumference than the other pair of 32s i bought. i give up. they seem like good pants. i wish i could get a pair that fit.

Great Pants, Almost Too Stretchy
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I love these pants, they're comfortable, great price, and the color is great in the green. My only downside is that they have a lot of stretch, my waist is small compared to my thighs and this makes my waist size bigger, that said it's hard to keep the pants comfortably up while longboarding. They catch my thighs and calves a lot and I end up re-adjusting a lot, for people not addicted to deadlifts these are perfect.

Great fit. Flexible.

My bf loves these pants! He is usually a 34 but sometimes needs to size up to a 36 so I would say these may run slightly big. He is 6'2 , 220lbs athletic build, and hates tight feeling pants!!). These in the size 34 are great for him and have a stretch to them. These are his new favorite pants. Very flattering! Could be work pants or even dressed up more for a casual or "put together" outfit. Love the brown color that isn't in stock anymore. I am just now purchasing the grey pair.

size
- Familiarity:

Love the pants, seem exactly as expected except sizing. There are a couple guys my exact same size in the reviews that ordered a 32 waist, the size I've been for decades. They were so big I actually pulled them off without undoing the button! Returning them and getting both a 32 & 30. I'm thinking the pair I got were mislabeled and likely were a 34, we'll see.

Definitely worth the cost

These backcountry pants are comfortable, seams are in the right places (to avoid tearing and pulling apart), and I plan to buy a second pair.
