Runs Very Small

I know cycling jerseys tend to be snug, but I had to go up two sizes from what I normally wear. The sleeves are still snug, but I’ll live. If you have large breasts, this might not be the one for you. I ❤️ the color & there are plenty of pockets to store small items. The fabric seems very durable & breathable for a hot day. It’s a gorgeous, affordable jersey; please make more colors, also address the design/sizing. Not everyone has less than 16% body fat.

Absolute Pass

Let me start off by saying that Backcountry provided me with this jersey in an XL to review but all opinions are my own - which will be obvious. This jersey is a HELL no. Have big boobs - keep looking. Have a belly - pass. Have broad shoulders - absolutely not. I was excited to get my first cycling jersey for gravel riding and couldn't have been more bummed when I truly squeezed myself into this. The zipper puckered and struggled to make it over my bust. The fabric seemed nice but that's its only redeeming quality. The extra kicker was that I brought it to my friends to try on - one was a solid M and she had the exact same issues with the zipper puckering. Our other friend who is usually a S/XS had it fit her perfectly, but the jersey was too long. No one wants to be hyper-aware of their looks and body while they're out there crushing miles, and with that this jersey needs to go back to the drawing board.

Good beginner's jersey

I didn't want to spend much money as I am not a serious biker. Material is on the thick/warm side and the proportions are a little off as other reviewers noted.

Love this Jersey

Really happy I decided to buy this jersey. It is tight like a race fit, which is what I prefer. The chamois and sunglasses holder are awesome, and the two way zipper is a game changer. My boyfriend was so impressed by the jersey that he tried to find a men's version. I purchased the deep atlantic color and wish there were additional colors aside from gray. Keep making these BC!

Runs Small, Durable Material

I am typically a medium and stayed with a medium. However I did try and consider a large. Sizing up to the large made the shoulders a little too large so I stuck with the snugger fit Medium. The fabric is durable and I love having the two way zipper.

Unfortunately the sizing on this jersey isn't for me. In general, ordering road jerseys is hard because they can run true to size, or very very small. I've bought another Backcountry road cycling products before, and neither the medium or large fit me, so I bought the extra large in case this was the same. The hips were almost the right tight fit, but then the sleeves and shoulders were really big. Strange fit.

Great value!

Great basic cycling top. There?s a built in chamois to wipe sunglasses which is a huge plus. Fits more snug on hips than through the chest. I like the length. Sleeves are little longer than my other tops as well but it all works well. Comfortable and functional.

I didn't believe the previous reviewer, but I should have! This jersey runs long and so the bottom sits around the hips rather than waist. Coupled with being cut pretty much straight (as you'd expect a men's fit) it is therefore very snug around the hips. To add insult to injury it was on the baggy side around the bust.....

Great quality, but fit is xtra small

These jerseys are of extremely high quality. I love the BC logo with the zippered compartment. There are so many additional details that aren?t common in more expensive jerseys. Here?s the bad. If you are even remotely curvy, don?t bother. The shoulders and chest fit perfect, but the waist is cut aggressively slim.
