Why We Like The Double Wide Sleeping Bag
With the Alps Mountaineering Double Wide 20 Degree Sleeping Bag, there's plenty of space for us and an adventure buddy to enjoy a comfortable night's sleep in the outdoors. The spacious 68-inch width also gives us room to roll over when our partner is apparently having an action-packed dream and we're caught in the crossfire. The Double Wide's 20-degree rating serves us well for three seasons of the year, and the synthetic insulation keeps us warm even if it gets wet.

Love it

We use it for van camping. No need for other bedding. The inside is super comfortable and soft. The double zipper allows the top to act like a comforter so both people have temp control. Super warm on cold nights. Would recommend.

Great idea just hope quality is there.
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I was really excited to find this large double sleeping bag because zipping our old north face bags together hasn?t been as comfortable once you add in a kid or two. I haven?t got a chance to use this bag camping yet but I?ve had it for a few months. While putting it away the other day I saw that it was ripped a few inches along one of the seams. I?m the type that would rather sew than ship back but I was disappointed because it?s brand new and I hope it?s not a warning about the quality. I like the bag over all and am still excited to use it for car camping. I like that you can unzip and use as a single bag or zip together as a family bed. Makes great guest bedding. Comes with a big oversized bag for storage. It?s huge and bulky so keep that in mind for packing up the car.

Cuddle bag!

Love this sleeping bag! I use this bag for car camping all of the time and really love it. It's soft, fluffy, and probably superfluous- perfect for car camping in the back of my Honda Element.

Absolutely fantastic purchase

When we started camping more often, my husband suggested getting a double sleeping bag. This bag is awesome. We bought it last year and have used it to camp in multiple state and national parks across the country. My 6'2" husband and I both feel like there's plenty of room inside so we don't feel our movement is restricted, but it keeps us warm even on some chilly nights. Love this bag!
